The Government proposes to acquire, on a five-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 15 each up to 135 each maximum of a SPRAG CLUTCH ASSEMBLY; NSN: 1615-01-305-6943; Part Numbers: 107DS214-8 (Boeing CAGE 77272) or CL-40093-7-22 (Formsprag CAGE 91422) applicable to the BK CH-47 (Chinook) weapon system. Item is a flight critical safety item. First Article Testing is Required. Non-Approved Sources require Source Approval. Production Lead Time with First Article Testing is 15 each, 915 Days after Contract Award (DACA) to CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, 78419- 5255. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 15 each, 610 Days after Contract Award (DACA) to CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, 78419-5255. This item is restricted to: Boeing Co., CAGE CODE: 77272. Formsprag LLC. CAGE CODE: 91422 DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE NOR DOES THE GOVERNMENT HAVE ACCESS TO THEM. THIS IS A CODE AND PART NUMBER PURCHASE. THERE WILL BE NO DISTRIBUTION OF DRAWINGS. This item is suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time from the indicated approved source(s) of supply. The rights to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional source(s) are not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed, or otherwise obtained. The Government has access to the data but does not own the rights to the data. The rights ownership has been verified through the Project Management Office. There is no cause to contest the ownership of the rights.Reverse engineering is not feasible. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
