- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation | 70FBR423Q00000036 The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has an urgent requirement and is considering the issuance of a firm fixed price purchase order in support of disaster relief operations for Hurricane Ida � DR4673-FL. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, FAR 13.106-1.� Solicitation 70FBR423Q00000036 is being issued for request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-08. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 532490 Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing. This action is being competed using the policies and procedures for procurements under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 USD 5150) and FAR 52.226-3, 52.226-4, 52.226-8 and 6.208 Set-Asides for Local Firms during a Major Disaster or Emergency. This action is a small business set-aside for vendors residing in or primarily doing business in federally declared disaster counties in the state of Florida. _____________________________________________________________________________ Description of Requested Items/CLIN Structure Purpose The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires the rental of (12) light carts with towers with a height of 25' (feet), diesel generator style, spill containment trays or berm provided under each light tower in support of disaster relief operations for DR4673-FL. _____________________________________________________________________________ Quote Submission Instructions Responses to this Request for Quote are due electronically to ashlee.young@fema.dhs.gov by 3:00 pm EST, on Thursday, November 3, 2022. This solicitation requires an active registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. Price The contractor shall complete the attached pricing chart which includes the product pricing, and delivery fees. Additionally, the Contractor must provide an image, product description, and specification of proposed equipment for this solicitation. Factor 3. Experience and Technical Competence in the type of work required The contractor shall provide their company's capability statement/work history in accordance with all requirements of this request for quote. Factor 4. Past Performance The contractor shall provide 3 references for work similar in nature
