Description
The West View Water Authority has entered into a Project Partnership Agreement with the U.S. Army�Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, to complete installation of potable water mains within�state and county rights-of-way, in Marshall Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. More�specifically, the work areas are located along Warrendale-Bayne Road (S.R.4052) between Innovation�Drive and Wheatland Road, Mingo Road (S.R. 4051) between Neely School Road and Warrendale Bayne�Road, and Brush Creek Road (C.R. 1052) between Warrendale Bayne Road and Ericsson Drive. Major features of work for this contract will include installation of 13,100-linear feet of 16-inch�diameter water main by the open trench, and jack and bore methods, pressure and disinfection�testing of water mains, traffic control, asphalt base, binder, and wearing courses replacements,�and pavement markings. Excavated material not used as backfill material will be disposed of at a� properly permitted facility.�� The work shall be completed within 365 Calendar Days after written Notice to Proceed. Disclosure of�Magnitude of Construction: Between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 The acquisition will be procured as a100% Small Business Set-Aside. The resulting award will be for�one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The�Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 22 November 2022, online through Procurement�Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) which posts the opportunity to SAM.gov; therefore,� requests for hardcopies of the solicitation will not be honored. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237110 -�Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The Small Business Size Standard for this�NAICS Code is $39,500,000.00.
