- 36C25023Q0129 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Vocera Badges The Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)-Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 541519 with a small business size standard of $30 million. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Alvarez LLC 161 Fort Evans Road NE, Suite 335, Leesburg, VA 20176. VAMC Cleveland is requesting Vocera wireless communication badges and FIPS compliant server licenses to be used in addition to the badges that have already been distributed throughout the facility. All badges and software must be compatible to those already currently in use. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Tuesday November 22, 2022 at 12PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
