Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, 260 E University Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45219, intends to award a sole source purchase order contract to Verathon Inc., 20001 N Creek Pkwy, Bothell, WA 98011, to provide the VISN10 location in Northern Indiana with radiology glide scopes for the existing Verathon Inc system. This is a FAR Subpart 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B): Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services ordered are unique or NAICS Code 339112. Verathon Inc currently provides all the Glide Scopes equipment and information system. The contract is turnkey, currently providing computer hardware and software, both maintained by Verathon Inc. The Verathon Inc equipment to include the following: �� Glideslope Core 10 Premium Configuration with Smart Cable and GlideScope Quick Connect Cable 0270-0991 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. No solicitation documents are available; however, any firm that believes it that they can meet the Verathon requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 24 hours from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in enough detail to demonstrate compliance. Information must be sent electronically to dwight.petsche@va.gov. Any responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government as to whether to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within 24 hours of publication or by 12:00PM November 18, 2022, to be considered.
