Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Air Combat Electronics Program (PMA 209), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and execute a modification to Delivery Order N00421-21-F-4718 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N0042117G0003, with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0505 to increase the scope of the Delivery Order to provide an Integration Guide for Software Reuse. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� Rockwell Collins, Inc. is original developer of the Flight Management Function Application and retains all data rights; making them the only known source with the necessary technical data, knowledge, experience, and expertise required to perform this effort. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPROSAL. This notice outlines the Government�s intent to contract on a sole source basis with Rockwell Collins, Inc.� No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Pursuant to FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Rockwell Collins, Inc. directly.
