- Description
- The Department of State has a requirement to procure simultaneous interpreting service and equipment for the Department of State, Bureau of Administration, Office of Operations, Office of General Services Management, Special Services Division, Audiovisual Services Branch, Cambodia. The services and equipment will be used at the highest levels of government and cosmetic appearance is therefore of paramount importance. Accordingly, all services and equipment must meet the technical specifications detailed below and no partial deliveries or substutitions will be accepted. Technical Specifications:� One (1) Non-ISO Double Sound Isolation Booth with Lighting, per day Two (2) Single Interpreter Console with Microphones Bosch NG, per day Twelve (12) PTT Wired Microphone Bosch DCN NG with Long Stem, channel selector and headphones, per day One (1) PTT Microphone CCU/Power Unit Bosch DCN One (1) Computer for CCU w/ Bosch NG software One (1) English Speaking Senior Conference Technician for duration One (1) Allowance for Expenses including freight from Singapore or Sydney on carnet Additional Requirements:� The contractor must have equipment of the type specified above to be used for various meetings and conferences. The rental equipment must be available to be used in Cambodia with or without technical and/or operating personnel. The contractor must have facilities and personnel located in Cambodia to facilitate permanent installations of the type and scope presently existing in the Department of State. This sources sought notice seeks full and open competition. However, this notice is also issued for the purpose of determining the availability and technical�capabilities of at least two qualified small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran owedsmall businesses, or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing the required services and equipment.
