Description
*** CRTI Online Due Diligence System PRODUCT MUST BE READY OFF-THE-SELF TO PROVIDE ALL REQUIREMENTS ON DATE OF ORAL PRESENTATION / PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION *** EXIMs due diligence compliance check process for Character, Reputational and Transaction Integrity (CRTI) involves multiple daily bulk/batch searches carried out by staff in our Research and Information Services Division. All medium- and long-term transaction participants are screened against all required watch lists and, under special circumstances, seven (7) additional lists as determined by EXIM asset management staff. This includes both individual(s) and business entity(ies) name(s). When there is a match that links an exporter, lender, or supplier in a transaction to fraud or corruption, the results are forwarded to EXIM loan officers working on the transactions, the Credit Monitoring and Review Division, and the Office of the General Counsel for remediation. For higher dollar valued transactions, participants that appear on the Politically Exposed Person (PEP) list are flagged.
