- Description
- NASA/Johnson Space Center (JSC) has a requirement for the build, test and delivery of twenty-five (25) matching male/female pairs of stainless steel quick disconnects (QDs).� Also, to complete an engineering evaluation on the feasibility to build one (1) matching male/female pair of titanium QD. NASA/JSC intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire QDs services from Outpost Technologies, Inc. due to their previous proven manufacturing capability of QDs, and the Government�s need for additional reliable suppliers of QDs. NASA/JSC intends to contract with Outpost Technologies, Inc. for these services on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 19.502-2 Total small business set-asides. Outpost Technologies, Inc. is a small business concern. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. ��� Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Kendrea Vallien kendrea.d.vallien@nasa.gov not later than 5:00 P.M Central Standard Time on December 06, 2022. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
