Description

Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center � Pacific requires the purchase of pneumatic fenders for the NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NM-AN2150-23-00238 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-08. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 336612 � Boat Building. This solicitation is being posted as a Full and Open Competition solicitation for Pneumatic Fenders. (v) Line items are as follows: CLIN 1:������������ MARINE FENDERS AND ASSOCIATED SUPPLIES: ����������������������� 3 Each Pneumatic Fender 500 x 1000 � 50kPa � Sling Type � with shackle, swivel, and shackle assembly (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired:� The NOAA ship Oscar Dyson requires the purchase of three (3) Pneumatic Fenders. Quotes should include shipping/freight cost to the delivery destination and expected timeframe for delivery.� This solicitation is for Full and Open Competition. (vii) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance and FOB point. FOB Destination delivery is required no later than 4/1/2023 to: NOAA Ship Oscar Dyson, 2002 SE Marine Science Drive, Newport, OR 97365. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors�Commercial, applies to this acquisition without addenda. (ix) The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation�Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.� Please see attached Terms and Conditions for specific evaluation criteria.
