Description

The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Southworth-Milton CAT, Inc., under authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for the servicing of Caterpillar Engines and Generators on a Government owned vessel . This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for the Engine and Generator servicing on a Government owned vessel to Southworth-Milton CAT, Inc. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The anticipated award amount is $37,739.98. The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Contracting Office intends to make a sole source award to Southworth-Milton CAT, Inc, 100 QUARRY DRIVE, MILFORD, MA 01757, US.
