- Pre-solicitation This is a Pre-Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ). VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES UNTIL THE RFQ IS POSTED ON THIS WEBSITE. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for the information resulting from this posting. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 8), James A. Haley Veterans Hospital (JAHVH), Tampa, FL, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for brand name or equal FitBit Sense. Equipment must have the physical characteristics listed below. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Equipment must have the physical characteristics to enable the department to the ability to sync with the virtual reality equipment and look at the physiological response to VR. The following items meet this need: Deliverables: ESTIMATED QUANTITIES: 153 Fit Bit Sense watches., brand name or equal. SPECIFIC NEEDS/ SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 1) Fit Bit Sense: Must include watch and band 2) Dimensions: 40.48mmx40.48mmx12.35mm 3) Weight: 1.7 ounces 4) Purpose: Improve activity and sleep monitoring and generalized learned exercises and skills from the CPRP home 5) This is a black, waterproof smartwatch that includes the tracking of health metrics including sleep quantity and quality as well as providing stress management tools. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: All items are to be delivered within 3-4 weeks of purchase order processing and order placement. FOB: Destination NAICS Code 339112 - Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing (size standard 750 employees) applies to this procurement. Solicitation# 36C24823Q0236 is anticipated to be posted to the Beta.SAM.gov website on or about 12/05/2022, closing date: 12/09/2022 @10am EST.
