Description

This is a Notice of Intent, not a request for proposal.� The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis with Protein Metrics Inc, Cupertino, CA to procure: Renewable 12-month Node-locked License for Byonic module - comprising the following analytical modules which include Support and Updates during the Term, �2 license total, quantity 1 12-month Term of Support and Updates for existing Perpetual, Node-locked Byos� License Bundle, all modules installed on the same Node, Support for Peptide Analysis Module, quantity 1 This requirement is to renew two preview/byonic stand-alone database search licenses that are required for the lab�s mass spectrometrists to allow for quick data/instrument quality control. This software set integrates within the existing Proteome Discoverer suite of programs to visualize instrument drift, quality of digestion, sample handling artefacts, and glycosylation states, among other options. This allows for quick diagnosis of potential problems with the samples before it can become unrecoverable. The statutory authority for this sole source requirement is 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1 only one responsible source and no other supply of service will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� All responsible sources that could provide comparable services may submit a capability statement that will be considered by email (subject line to reference NOI-NIAID-2151719 to Rita Davis at rita.davis@nih.gov, and to Tonia Alexander at talexander@niaid.nih.gov by 12:00 pm eastern standard time Tuesday, December 20, 2022.� All responses received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
