- The notice is for informational purposes only IAW DFARS PGI 206.302-1(d).� This is not a formal Request For Quote (RFQ) or Request For Proposal (RFP).� Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract because of this announcement.� USSOCOM has the need for information on future Fly Away Broadcast Systems/Broadcast Dissemination Platforms.� Desired technical requirements are listed below. The information provided may be used by USSOCOM in developing its acquisition strategy, statement of work/statement of objectives, or performance specifications.� Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this request for information (RFI) or to otherwise pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. USSOCOM is requesting industry comment on their ability to provide a non-developmental, broadcast system which includes the cellular broadcasting to handsets unaffiliated with broadcast system network, digital broadcast TV and FM modes, multi-channel broadcast modes, Radio Data System (RDS)/Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS), AM and SW modulation. Based on MISO mission needs and requirements, three variants are required. Respondents should address the following criteria in their submission and substantiating data: Tx Frequency Range Tx Distance Range Size and weight (including transport packaging � if applicable) Mast height/weight (if applicable) Battery type/ Battery life Bandwidth and associated throughput (Mbps) Power output for each broadcast capability Ease of setup Ease of operation Operate in environments from open sea to urban Built-In Test (BIT) if applicable License requirements Safety requirements Cyber Security system compliance: - CNSSP - DoDI 8500.01 - DoDI 8551.01 - FAR Part 25 and Part 52� � � � Once all responses are received detailing technologically operational capabilities available, USSOCOM may request additional information on a respondent�s capabilities. Respondents that currently possess products which meet all or most capabilities outlined above may be requested to demonstrate their capability. Interested parties shall respond by the due date outlined below with the requested information regarding their existing mature capabilities that meet all or a subset of the aforementioned attributes. Reponses must include which capabilities and/or certifications are not currently met and an estimated timeline they could be met if applicable. Further, responses shall include any potential tradeoff capabilities and/or alternative solutions the Government has not considered. All replies must be provided to the Government no later than Monday, January 17, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
