Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Sole Source Title: Access to IDC Industry Technology Advance Program (ITAP) Description: The Office of the Secretary intends to award a Sole Source contract for the Bureau of Economic to IDC Research, Inc. 140 Kendrick Street, Bldg. B., Needham, MA 02494, for access to the IDC Industry Technology Advance Program (ITAP) relates services to improve measures of Gross Domestic Product and the Digital Economy estimates. This include access to IDC�s online research library, unlimited inquiry access to IDC�s analysts, access to webinars and events, and a concierge level of service and support the period January 2023 to January 2023.�� The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541910- Marketing Research and Public Opinion Polling. IDC Research, Inc. is the only responsible source known to provide expert alternate measurement of economic wellbeing information, news, and insights. It is The Office of the Secretary intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source �Firm Fixed Price type contract. �The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base period to IDC Research, Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. Requirement: Please see attached SOW Sole Source Justification In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible, IDC Research, Inc. is the only organization who can provide the services needed. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by The Office of the Secretary, BEA. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Rosalyne Snow, Contracting Officer at rsnow@doc.gov �by 10:00 AM EST on, January 12, 2023. Responses must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate.
