Description

This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Gaithersburg, MD.� The Solicitation will be advertised as an 8(a) set-aside under NAICS code 236220 � Commercial and Institution Building Construction , the small business size standard is $45 Million. The Government anticipates awarding a single firm fixed price purchase in accordance with the procedures outlined in FAR 13 � Simplified Acquisition Procedures. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The scope of this project is to perform construction of building 216 Laser System Installation project as outlined in the DRAFT Statement of Work.� All work shall be performed at the NIST campus located at 100 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg, MD 20899.� The magnitude for this project is estimated to be below $100,000.00.�� SOLICITATION REQUIREMENTS A formal Solicitation will be posted to the https://www.sam.gov/ website outlining the requirement and selection process.� Quoter�s submissions shall be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation which shall include the following technical factors: Factor 1 � Experience Factor 2 � Key Personnel Factor 3 � Project Execution The Quoter whose submission represents the lowest price technically acceptable quote to the Government shall be selected for award. Anticipated Award Date: February 2023 Estimated Period of Performance: 68 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed.
