Description

The National Guard Bureau (NGB) requires conference space for training, audio visual equipment (AV) and labor to setup, teardown and support the events AV requirements in support of the G-1 MILPO Training Symposium.� The 2023 G-1 MILPO Training Symposium has a two-fold purpose: First, to provide comprehensive guidance and synchronization across G-1 leaders and personnel. Second, to incorporate key stakeholder input and provide the opportunity and venue to prioritize their requirements. In addition, the symposium serves as a forum that provides the National Guard Bureau the opportunity to facilitate an informative dialogue among the 54 States, Territories and District of Columbia on updates and changes necessary to support ARNG policies and resourcing matters.� Of the cities and sites surveyed, the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, FL, is the only venue available to reasonably meet the Government's lodging availability, conference space availability, and A/V support under the Governments location and date constraints. Other conference venues only met some of the Government's requirements. Therefore, if the ARNG-HRZ cannot hold the G1 MILPO event at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center, Orlando, on 1-5 MAY 2023 the the event will not be held this FY.�� The space and AV requirement will cover 9 rooms that need to accomodate between 45 and 250 personnel.� �
