Statement of Work (SOW) For repairs to USCGC TAMPA MK39 GYROCOMPASS Background and Current Observed Issues CGC TAMPA is requesting OEM technical representative to diagnose and repair the MK39 Gyrocompass to its full functionality and factory performance specifications. MK39 information: Model:� MOD3A Serial number:� 286 Part Number: 1982418 NIIN: 01-523-8655 REFERENCES Drawing 903-WMEC-426-001 Gyrocompass system block & isometric wiring diagram REQUIREMENTS Contractor shall provide the services of qualified Technical Representative to accomplish the following services: Diagnosis system for any failures, develop, and execute repair plan. Provide all special tools for repair work. Supply all consumable parts, lubricants, and sealants. Submit a Condition Found Report for repair parts to be charged. CONTRACTOR PERSONNEL 4.1.1 Qualified Personnel.� The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel and subject matter experts to perform all required tasks specified in this SOW. 4.1.2 Employee Conduct.� Contractor employees shall present a professional appearance and their conduct shall not reflect discredit upon the U.S. Government, and any involved Departments or Agencies.� Contractor employees shall comply with all applicable Government regulations, policies, and procedures (e.g., fire, safety, sanitation, environmental protection, security, �off limits� areas, wearing of parts of military uniforms, and possession of weapons) when visiting or working at Government facilities. 4.1.3 Conflict of Interest.� The Contractor shall not employ any person who is an employee of the U.S. Government if that employment would, or would appear to cause, a conflict of interest.� The Contractor shall take appropriate precautions as delineated in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to preclude actual or apparent conflicts of interest. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE �The period of the performance shall be coordinate with CGC. Estimated time of repair is 42wks as quoted.
