- Oracle Java Audit & Compliance Defense The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking sources for expert Oracle Java audit defense and compliance review to ensure FAA�s Oracle Java usage is as per and within entitlement. The vendor will be required to act as an expert Oracle audit intermediary for FAA and provide Oracle Java audit defense and compliance review before and during Oracle�s investigation, reporting and conclusion phase. Activities include but are not limited to gathering, analyzing, and validating Oracle Java usage data across both hardware and software configurations at FAA and vetting them against present Java entitlements based on Oracle products already paid for, which allow for either direct or implied Oracle Java usage. Sources that are capable of fulfilling the following requirements are being sought: -Provide expert Oracle Java audit defense and compliance review to ensure FAA�s Oracle Java usage is as per and within entitlement. -Act as an expert Oracle audit intermediary for FAA and provide Oracle Java audit defense and compliance review during Oracle�s investigation, reporting and conclusion phase for activities comprising, but not limited to gathering, analyzing, and validating Oracle Java usage data across both hardware and software configurations at FAA and vetting them against present Java entitlements based on Oracle products already paid for which allow for either direct or implied Oracle Java usage. -Must have provided expert Oracle audit defense and compliance review services for verifiable entities with specific examples of Oracle Java audit defense service(s) provided. -Must have expert and comprehensive knowledge of Oracle products which, when already paid for by an organization, would provide for implied or embedded Oracle Java entitlement. -Must have expert knowledge around most efficient utilization of Java products / software and be able to provide recommendations and information for alternative products or solutions� -During the reporting phase thoroughly review Oracle audit findings and independently compare Oracle Java usage to FAA�s present Oracle Java entitlement as outlined above and provide actions for resolution. -Provide expert assistance throughout the audit and liaise between the FAA and Oracle to ensure audit resolution, closure, and quantitative reporting of: a.) the value of both direct and implied Oracle Java entitlement(s) from Oracle products already paid for and b.) the value of the FAA�s Oracle Java usage not covered under Oracle Schedule A, B or those aforementioned direct or implied entitlements. Include the following in your response: - Company Name, Physical Address, SAM UIE, Cage Code and Website; - Point of Contact Name, Title, Phone Number, and E-mail Address; -Capabilities statement, including knowledge and experience,�regarding the requirements above; -Specific examples of Oracle Java audit defense service(s) provided with verifiable entities. -Identify your status, if any, within the Small Disadvantaged Business or other socio-economic contracting assistance categories under the Small Business Administration�s size standards for NAICS Code 541519 and other eligibility requirements. The purpose of this RFI is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB), 8(a) certified firms, HubZone or other Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB)s capable of providing the services outlined in SOW. �The responses to this RFI will help determine the acquisition strategy The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time.
