Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, bids, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is searching for vendors with the capabilities to provide Basic Cable TV and Guest Internet Services for the Tomah VA Medical Center located in Tomah, WI. The Period of Performance is to be Base + Options. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, parts, test equipment, tools, and expertise necessary to provide following services: Basic Cable Service (e.g. Charter/Spectrum, Cox Communications; not to include Satellite TV or similar providers) with local channels to include Bally Sports Wisconsin provided to Tomah VAMC in Tomah, WI. Tomah VAMC shall have the ability to inject VA channels into the provided cable TV stream to each TV drop location. Will serve approximately 400 separate TV drop locations. Provide Guest Internet Service and support to include the following. Shall serve approximately 150 wireless access points. Wireless access points are in approximately 20 separate buildings throughout the Tomah VAMC campus. System shall require approximately 32 switches with 24 RJ45 ports each, one gateway and one firewall. Interested parties shall be required to provide a hardware refresh of the above Wi-Fi internet system immediately after contract award. Interested parties shall provide ongoing hardware, software, and network support for life of contract and to maintain system with current, supported devices, hardware, and software for life of contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is anticipated to be 517111 Wired Telecommunications Carriers. If industry has a recommendation for applicable NAICS, please identify the NAICS in your response. All interested, responsible sources must submit a capability statement by 13:00 Local Time (CST) on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 to richard.ruffin@va.gov to include the following: Company Experience in providing Basic Cable TV and Guest Internet Services, to include number of years and any examples of current contracts in place with government or commercial entities Customer point of contact information for contracts listed in company experience along with a description of Basic Cable TV and Guest Internet Services provided under the contract; Verification of authorization related to providing Basic Cable TV and Guest Internet Services; SAM UEI number, organization name, organization address, point of contact, business size under recommended NAICS, if provided, and socioeconomic status; This Sources Sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes to determine availability of qualified vendors and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Please note that this is not a request for proposal and the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents.
