Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC),� Gallup, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award to GALLUP LUMBER & SUPPLY CO INC ., Unique Entity ID L5S6AMCTNJV3, for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Order for Propane Gas refills including related supplies for the Facilities Management Department, Gallup Indian Medical Center, Gallup, New Mexico.� Award will be for a base period of 12 months, with up to 2 option periods of 12 months each for a total period of performance of 3 years, if all option periods were exercised. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), GALLUP LUMBER & SUPPLY CO INC. is the only viable, reasonable source that can provide the required delivery of propane gas refills to the Gallup Indian Medical Center, due to its immediate availability within the local area. Sources outside of the local area will compromise patient care. Responses to a recent sources-sought notice did not produce other sources that will meet the government�s need. Further requirements of similar or same nature will be screened for available sources that will meet the organization�s needs at that time.
