Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for dredging several areas within the 35-foot-deep Piscataqua River feature (i.e., Newington Reach) of the Portsmouth Harbor & Piscataqua River, Federal Navigation Project (FNP) located in Newington NH and Elliot, Maine. Dredging of the FNP is needed to meet the navigational requirements of deep draft vessels that use the 35-foot-deep channel leading to the head of navigation.� This announcement is to determine the interest, availability and capability of Small and Large Business concerns as described below. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990 with a Size Standard of $37M. The solicitation for this project is anticipated to be issued on or about June 30, 2023.� The construction is expected to be done in the winter of 2023-2024 and take 4 to 6 weeks to complete.� The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.�
