- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the US Department of State, International Programs Division, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Crimson Hexagon Under the authority of 41 USC 3304 (a)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The US Department of State Bureau of Global Public Analytics has a requirement for Brandwatch which is a sophisticated social listening platform used to plan and evaluate the Department�s messaging initiatives as well as mission critical media landscapes. Brandwatch shall provide the specified number of queries to each individual account as requested by the GPA Office of Analytics.� All pre-enabled content sources shall provide full data access on demand via query from the purchased monitors.� GPA-AN shall serve as the main administrator of users and queries. This is a notice of intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures for a one-year period of performance to allow for any additional market research to be conducted in addition to the research already completed. Even though a Firm-Fixed Price/Sole Source contract is anticipated, firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to the Contracting Officer, Michael Henderson, Email: HendersonMP@state.gov. IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submissions of information are not acceptable and will not be accepted in response to this notice. 2) Respondents may respond via email no later than 31 March 2023, 12:30:00 pm, EDT. If no responsible, responsive offers are received by the above date, a sole source contract will be issued to Crimson Hexagon, under the authority if FAR 6.302-1.
