- This amendment extends the response due date to April 7th at 4PM PST; and updates the Salient Characteristics to: Must be a mobile unit that can be moved from one area to another. Machine must have built in shock absorbers/ protective apparatus in order to protect bulbs during movement. Must have ability for multiple end users to log on. Each login must have password protected to begin cleaning cycle. Must have a charging cycle of less than 12 hours. The cleaning robot system must allow for daily reports to be pulled to determine usage and location of each cleaning cycle, from host website. Must use standard US grounded wall plug. Machine must have a mobile network that can link using a hotspot or other means as the device will not be connected to the VA network. Must incorporated signage on unit with all applicable safety features, to ensure proper use. Training and certification of environmental management employee to provide onsite repairs. Access to company sponsored website for repair guidance, techniques and FAQ s. Must utilize dosimeter cards to effectively review uses in each area to check effectiveness. Machine must have the ability to add/ remove new locations based off of the constantly changing facility within the system itself, without requiring a to the call manufacture for assistance. Provide monthly reporting for compliance to be sent to infection control. Machine must be able to identify via onscreen error codes to ensure maintenance of the machine. A Loma Linda Requires 7 ultraviolet robots to maintain the Environment of care. 1 robot per floor, 2 for outer buildings and 1 as a facility backup Robot must deactivate the environment of the following pathogens VRE 100%, MRSA 99.9%, SARS- CoV-2 99.9%, and C.Diff spores 95%.
