- This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.201. The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Quantic X-Microwave. Address: 14000 Summit Drive, Suite 900 Austin, Texas, 78728. This requirement is for the following microwave assemblies to be used in theMission Modular Radio Frequency Conditioning Unit (MM RFCU) in support of the Ship Signal Exploitation Equipment Modifications: Qty. 1: NRE-CMA-1813, NRE for VGA Qty. 4: XM-CMA-1813, Variable Gain Amplifier (VGA) Qty. 1: NRE-CMA-1814, NRE for Tx/Rx Switch Assembly Qty. 5: XM-CMA-1814, Tx/Rx Switch Assembly The Government intends to negotiate solely with Quantic X-Microwave under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), only one source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items, applies. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS Code is 334419 and the business size standard is 750 employees. Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not binding. Any comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted via e-mail to james.r.davenport60.civ@us.navy.mil by 11 APR 2023 at 1300 PST. Questions by phone or fax will not be considered. All responses received by this date may be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
