THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES The 97th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Altus AFB, OK 73523 requires Vegas S-Module Diodes and Cables to allow for data collection devices to be connected to the KC-46 Communication System. This system will act as a physical firewall while cleaning up signals from the bus and protect against signal transients while simplifying cyber assessment and authorization. Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) has confirmed that NuWave LTD (CAGE:1ZJ73) is currently the only manufacturer and distributor.� At this time AFRL is looking for other companies to manufacture and distribute the Vegas device. The 97th Contracting Squadron intends to make award to NuWave LTD. (CAGE:1ZJ73). Any other interested parties may e-mail scott.swain.2@us.af.mil to explain their capabilities to fulfil the requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Please see attached Single Source Justification for further information.
