THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST-FOR ESTIMATE in regards to market capabilities for interested businesses (Small and/or Large) who are willing and able to provide an estimate (based on attached drafted Salient Characteristics/Requirement). The Government intends to Award a Firm Fixed Price FFP Purchase Order using FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. The results from this notice will enable Soliciting from a single source or Competing. ONLY VENDORS SPECIALIZED ON MOBILE LABORATORY MAINTENANCE (Germfree Equipment) WILL BE CONSIDERED. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS RFI IF YOUR ARE NOT IN THIS FIELD/INDUSTRY (NO THIRD PARTIES/INTERMEDIARIES) Service needed: The extended warranty package shall cover necessary maintenance of the items listed below to ensure serviceability and certify functionality per (Germfree) original equipment manufacturers (OEM) standards. Air bag system,�Primary containment equipment to include the Class III BSC glovebox with airlock,�Filtration systems to include the NBC and HVAC systems,�UPS system,�Suspension between the box and the vehicle chassis.� A single deployment of maintenance support within the contiguous United States (CONUS) to ensure all components listed above are fully operational in accordance with OEM standards. The duration of each maintenance support trip is expected to be about 1-3 days, except in real world contingency operations where the duration cannot be determined. Applicable Documentation Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) Recommended Practice (RP)-0034 American Glovebox Society (AGS) 001 Third Edition The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) n510 (Testing of Nuclear Air Treatment Systems) **All interested businesses sources may submit a capability statement, with their initial estimate. THE ESTIMATE IS FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND BUDGETARY PURPOSES. Site Visits Interested parties are encouraged to conduct a site visit at their own expense.
