- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ), on behalf of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), Washington Field Office intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Silver Eagle Group Northern Virginia LLC (physical address: 21550 Beaumeade CIR Ashburn, VA� 20147-6051, United States; Unique Entity ID: HM9KTBAGDTJ7; and Cage Code: 6ZMX8). ICE officers are required to carry certain firearms as part of their duties. In order to carry these firearms, ICE officers are mandated to meet ongoing firearms training and qualification requirements. The ICE ERO Washington Field Office requires access to a local shooting facility that has both, a shooting range and shooting training facility for 86 ICE officers, allowing ICE officers to conduct firearms training, practice, and qualifications. The shooting facility must be within a 30-mile distance from the Washington Field Office location (the Washington Field Office is located at 14797 Murdock Street, Chantilly, VA 20151) and be located within five (5) miles of a trauma center/hospital equipped to treat any level of severity of trauma (gunshot) by an onsite trauma surgeon if required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The shooting facility must also have the capability to meet other specific requirements as further described in the attached Statement of Work. The period of performance of this purchase order is anticipated to be for a total of 60 months (inclusive of one (1) 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods). There is only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement. No other local shooting facility can meet ICE�s requirements. These services will be acquired in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. This is a notice of the Government�s intent to issue a sole source award to Silver Eagle Group Northern Virginia LLC for the required services. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Responses to this notice may be considered when determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill this requirement by responding to this notice no later than the closing date by email to John.Kurtz@ice.dhs.gov; no telephone communications will be entertained. The subject line in the email shall state �Response to Notice � Law Enforcement Officer Access to Shooting Facility for Washington Field Office.� All information submitted should support the offeror�s capability to provide the required services and shall be furnished at no cost to the Government.
