Description

The USDA, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to issue an award on a single source basis (IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)) to EMD Millipore Corporation, 400 Summit Drive Burlington, MA 01803. The requirement is to provide services for preventive maintenance and repairs, to include OEM replacement parts, on the MILLI-Q HX 7150 water purification system. The anticipated period of performance is a base year and four option years.� This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same or similar service. All capability statements received by the closing date of this publication will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.�
