- Description
- DLA Energy, Aerospace Energy intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) on a full and open competitive basis.� This requirement is for the filling of bulk gaseous helium containers at the supplier�s facility for Propellant Pressurizing Agent Helium, NSN: 9135-01-644-2502, Type I, Grade A of specification MIL-PRF 27407D, dated 1 August 2014 and Pressurizing Agent Gaseous Helium (Bulk), NSN: 6830-01-665-9883, Type I Grade N, in accordance with CGA G-9.1N (available from the American Gas Association) in support of multiple customers within the Continental United States (CONUS). Product shall be delivered on a FOB Destination basis into a customer provided trailer.� In this requirement FOB Destination is defined as the supplier fill-point/plant(s). ��In addition, ancillary services such as Expedited/EmergencyDelivery and Evacuate and Purge Cylinder/Drums/Containers maybe� required.� BULK HELIUM EQUIPMENT TYPES: Various sizes of helium trailers and chassis-mounted compressed gas ISO containers.�� ESTIMATED QUANTITIES AND LOCATIONS: See Attachment I � Estimated Quantity by Customer Locations. UNIT OF MEASURE: 1 MC is equivalent to 1,000 standard cubic feet. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: This requirement has a 4-year period of performance, 1 October 2023 through 30 September 2027.����������������������������������������������������������� The Government intends to award a Single Award, Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures.� Award of this requirement will be made to the Offeror determined to be the Best Value to the Government, using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures. The RFP will be issued under this notice on or about 4 May 2023 and will be posted to the SAM web page (https://sam.gov). The anticipated closing date is anticipated to be 30 days after the issuance of the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
