Description

The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) is conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced and interested potential small business 8 (a) concerns capable of providing Washington Headquarters Services, Immediate Office Security support services outlined in the Draft Performance Work Statement (Attachment A). Background Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) provides a wide range of essential strategic and operational services that enable Department of Defense (DoD) components to accomplish their shared mission of supporting the Secretary of Defense.� WHS provides a wide range of centralized capabilities to DoD Headquarters, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and DoD components, enabling economies of scale for delivering essential services to fulfill the mission of the Department.� WHS is aligned under The Director of Administration and Management (DA&M) which has three broad missions in support of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, tenants of the Pentagon Reservation, and specified Defense activities: (1) Principal Staff Assistant and advisors.� (2)� Administrative services agent in the National Capital Region (NCR) and senior official responsible for the Pentagon Reservation.� (3) Security, law enforcement, and emergency management provider for the Pentagon, and designated DOD facilities in the NCR.� The Immediate Office and WHS Staff (IO) is the headquarters organization for WHS, providing integration of services to the WHS customer base.� The services request fall into the Security category. The Contractor shall provide support in professional-level security services.�
