Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Fort Bliss, Texas intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to Hologic to provide requested reagents and testing kits. The period of performance will consist of a base period of 4 months, with four one-year option periods. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.501(a)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. Award will be made on or about 1 June 2023.� The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325413 In Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturning ; SBA Small Business Size Standard 1,250 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A formal solicitation will not be published unless it is determined in the best interest of the Government to do so. However, all responses received, to include capability statements received before 12:00PM MST on 2 May 2023 will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
