Description
The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Travel Management Services for the U.S. Mission Turkey The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue an RFP and award a Firm-Fixed Priced, Requirements type contract during the third quarter of calendar year 2023. The successful Contractor shall provide corporate travel services for official domestic and international travel of Government employees and their dependents. Domestic and International travel includes travel inside of the country of Turkey in which the U. S. Embassy Ankara, Consulate General Istanbul and Consulate Adana, Embassy Branch Office (EBO) Gaziantep, and Consular Agency Izmir are located, and travel outside that country, including travel within the U.S. and other countries. Current workload is approximately 3,100 airline tickets and 2,300 hotel bookings reservations per year, Mission-wide. The corporate travel services that the Contractor shall provide include: Traveler profiles, Travel reservations, options researching, issuance and delivery of tickets for air, rail, bus, and ocean vessel carriers; refunds, and where possible, advance seat assignments. Reservations for lodging accommodations. Transportation of the deceased. Detailed travelers' itineraries. Management information and billing reports derived from the booking database. Accurate and automated reconciliation of travel charges incurred through the Government's CBA, GTR, and IBA accounts. Information pamphlets for Government travelers who use the contract. The contract�s period of performance shall begin on, or about, October 2023 and last 12 months, with four additional option year periods. APPLICATION FOR SOLICITATION DOCUMENTATION CHECK LIST In applying for the solicitation material, you are acknowledging that your company is able to reach compliance with the following highlighted requirements included in the solicitation. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Furthermore, authorization shall include the requirement to be registered to do business in Turkey: a.�� A thorough description as to what steps you have taken to investigate all requirements to obtain authorization to perform in the given country, and to obtain in-country business registration; b.�� Details of your findings and a description of what your organization will actually be required to undertake to obtain licensing; and c.�� Specific information concerning the period of time you anticipate it will take to obtain appropriate authorization. You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Ankara, Turkey.� Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified.� Contract award can only be made to a contractor who is registered in System Award Management (SAM).
