Description: The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) requires a scanning electron microscope (Tescan VEGA-3 XMH, s/n VG9401274US) requiring ultra-high vacuum for the electron gun to operate. Since an unplanned power� outage last year, this system has not been able to maintain the required vacuum level. A service� visit to troubleshoot and repair the system is required. The parts required to repair this� instrument are proprietary and cannot be obtained from other vendors. �
