- STATEMENT OF WORK SMYU 15-1069�REPAIR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM IN WAREHOUSE, B2462 OSAN AB, ROK DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed for completion of this project shall be as described in general below. The contractor shall provide all design drafting, management, supervision, plant, labor, materials, equipment, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the scope of work contained herein and as included in the drawings and specifications. All work shall be completed IAW the attached drawings and specifications. PRINCIPLE FEATURES: This Project is K-work (Repair and Maintenance) and includes following principle features and specified works on the APPENDIX �A� and �B�. B2462 is the warehouse storage for vehicles. Thirty (30) vehicles are stored in general. Fuel of the vehicles are diesel, and approximately 55 gallons (1 drum) is filled at each fuel tank. CIVIL WORK:�None. ARCHITECTURAL WORK: Provide double steel pipe scaffolding around the proposed building for temporary works including fabricating and dismantling. Apply epoxy concrete sealer to the existing concrete floor including surface preparation. Provide wall openings for new wall ventilators including supplementary framing and base plates as shown on the drawing (Refer to the mechanical SOW & drawings). Provide new 6� (150MM) mineral fiber blanket insulation incl. vapor barrier and wire mesh inside of exterior wall as shown on the drawing. Remove existing protected metal roof panel/batt insulation/ventilators and install new standing seam metal roofing (SSMR) system including meal flashing, metal roof deck, eave sub-purlins, 5� rigid insulation board (R-30)/vapor barrier, and all accessories for the new SSMR system over the existing main purlins. Provide structural reinforcement such as adding strut/purlin bracing for roof frame as shown on the drawing. Replace existing gutters and downspouts with new ones incl. concrete splash blocks as shown on the drawing. Replace existing skylight with new ones including new steel framing members as shown on the drawing (*MFG/Model: KALWALL/S-Lines 2-3/4� (70MM) Skylight system, Color/Finish: EXT-Crystal / INT-White, Product Number: S-420-3A, Standard Unit Sizes: 4'-0"" (1,220MM) x 20'-0"" (6,096MM), Shoji grid pattern, Standard KCRF Color: bronze#85 (Dark Brown), Shatterproof FRP face sheets, OSHA compliant - man safe design, Factory-sealed aluminum perimeter curb, withstand Class A burning brand or approved equal). Remove existing MECH RM (Fire Riser Room)/guard posts and provide new bigger MECH at the same location extended in size: 7,000mm W x 3,000mm L x 2,800mm H using CMU blocks/lintels including new guard posts, steel deck/joist, gypsum board ceiling and metal flashing with paint/coating finish. Provide new ELEC RM in size: 3,000mm W x 3,000mm L x 2,800mm H next to the new MECH RM using CMU blocks/lintels including steel deck/joist, gypsum board ceiling and metal flashing with paint/coating finish. Provide two new insulated metal hollow doors and frames for the new MECH RM and ELEC RM including all necessary hardware and finish such as closers, 1-1/2 PR hinges (A5111 NRP), weather strip, astragal, F-07 (or F-86) lockset, exterior door holder, threshold, and concrete stoops. Remove/replace existing equipment concrete pad for the new MECH RM (Refer to the mechanical SOW & drawings). Replace existing two metal roll up doors with new insulated metal overhead coiling doors which can be operated electrically and manually. Apply new paint/coating to the exterior metal wall panels including surface preparation except doors, guard posts and frames. Remove all construction debris originated from the project and clean up the job site. The contractor shall be responsible to repair all damages to existing areas caused by the project and to match condition to adjacent areas. �
