Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #659-24-906 New Pavement, walks and striping The Department of Veterans Affairs, 1601 Brenner Ave Salisbury, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, devices, and materials, and performing all operations necessary in designing, producing, in replacing and adding new pavement, walks, and striping at various locations throughout Salisbury VAMC. The work includes, but not limited to excavation, asphalt works, and concrete works as indicated by construction drawings. Contractor shall make alteration to existing utilities if required for new works, lower or raising water valves covers, manholes covers (MH), repair of subbase, and provide and install VA accessibility ramps. All trash and debris shall be re-move from area in accordance with contract documents and all construction work is to be performed in accordance with local building code, specifications, and contract/documents. Contractor to submit traffic control plan and describe a how work to be done for the areas as noted in within this contract. All test results to be submitted to the government and any work found not to specifications and contract requirements will be rework at no cost to the government. All work, including final cleanup and completion of any punch list items, shall be performed within two hundred and forty (210) calendar days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. Magnitude of Construction between $500,000 and $1,000,000 NAICS CODE: 236220 Size Standard: $25.5 million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about June 8, 2023. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bidders list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
