Description

The United States Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source based proprietary issues and compatibility with the current mounting systems and operations footprint. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH (RWM), headquartered in Unterl��, Germany (Bei Der Feuerwerkerei 4, Trittau, 22946, Germany, Cage Code: D2014) for parts, equipment, maintenance services and upgrades High Energy (HE) Cannon System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, this notice does function as a Request for Information (RFI) for offeror�s who believe they can meet the Government�s requirement. Any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. �A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Please contact Contract Specialist (Melissa Murphy; Melissa.m.murphy20.civ@army.mil) for questions or inquires. ��
