Description
This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available. Pre-Solicitation Notice for Solicitation Number 36C24223B0031; Project Number 632-12-106 Mill and Fill Northport Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This shall be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a Bid at no cost to the government, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and has a Size Standard of $39.5 million. The cost estimate range for this project is $500,000 and $1,000,000. 632-12-106 Mill and Fill Work to consist of but not limited to: Repair certain sections of the asphalt road at the Northport VAMC. The scoped area includes the road outside of Building 12 leading toward building 11, the road from the corner of building 10 to right outside Lot L at Building 92, the corner of Lot G toward the front of building 15 and in front of the warehouse, the corner of building 7 to the end of the building 6 parking lot, the corner of building 92 to the corner of building 89, the side entrance for Building 64 to the corner of Building 61, and from the back gate at the VA to the police booth at the back entrance. The estimated square footage of the pavement is roughly 175,000 sq ft. The attached drawing within this package lays out in detail the scoped areas. Work is to include all labor and material for the removal of the top 3 - 4 layer of the asphalt road, trucking and disposal, and installation of 3 -4 asphalt per the asphalt specifications. Work is also to include the striping of the roads including the striping of the cross sections of roads in kind to what is existing. Work is also to include sealing of all edges and seams of the asphalt at the end of work. All work can be completed on normal hours except for the warehouse which should be coordinated for after 4:30 PM Monday Friday or Saturday and Sunday. Each area must be completed prior to moving to another area unless approved by the COR. This construction is considered a mill and fill of the existing roadway at the Northport VAMC. All work is to be performed in according to the provided SOW and any other provided documents All work to be performed in accordance with the provided SOW, drawings, specifications, and any other provided documents. Work to be performed at Northport Veteran Affairs Medical Center in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications, Drawings, Federal, State, and Local Codes. After Contract Award the Contractor is required to provide a Payment Bond, a Performance Bond, Insurance certificate, within 10 days. Once received and confirmed, the period of performance for the above-mentioned project will begin with a Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued at a Pre-Construction Meeting (Pre-Con) and shall not exceed 45 days after NTP. This period of performance includes reasonable duration for all submittals to be approved prior to beginning construction. Project Completion: Period of Performance is 45 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.betasam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about June 13, 2023. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions shall be in hardcopies; faxed or e-mailed bids will not be accepted at this time. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.betasam.gov, www.dnb.com, and be registered and verified as a SDVOSB in www.vip.vetbiz.gov at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
