- Description
- Attached is the DRAFT solicitation for the Defense Freight Transportation Services (DFTS) II requirement including all attachments and appendices. A full and open strategy is anticipated. The period of performance for this effort is anticipated to include a 24-month base period, five one-year option periods, and a six-month extension per FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.�� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is anticipated to be 488510, Freight Transportation Arrangement.� The solicitation for this acquisition will be released electronically and will be available only on the SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/home. The expected release date for the official Request for Proposal (RFP) is on or around 13 July 2023. Due to the time required to research a question and provide an answer, questions received after 16 June 2023 may not be answered.�
