- Seeking Sources: Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information/sources sought notice in order to identify companies that have the resources and capabilities to provide warehousing and staging services for VHA Women s Health Services. Description of Work: TASK 1 warehousing services. Contractor will be providing up to 600 square feet of storage space. Contractor will be storing, inventorying the training simulation equipment and supplies. Women s Health Services will occasionally purchase supplies for restocking or additional training needs, and have it delivered to the storage site so Contractor can place it in storage with the other training equipment. TASK 2 staging services. Contractor will travel to Women s Health Mini Residency training events and then setup, monitor, breakdown the training simulation equipment for up to three Women s Health Mini Residency training events per year through 2028; these training events will be held at sites yet to be determined within the continental United States. TASK 3 shipping prepping services. Contractor will prepare for shipment, via a commercial carrier designated by Women s Health Services, certain training simulation equipment being sent to the National Mini Residencies (up to three per year) and VHA facilities who will be hosting about 30 smaller training events each year. Women s Health Services will provide Contractor with prepaid shipping labels for the equipment being shipped to VHA facilities and freight information for shipments to the National Mini Residencies. After the training, the equipment will be shipped back to the storage site and Contractor will place it back into storage. Technical Requirements: storage space must be physically separated from other storage users; it must have shelving for above-floor storage, it must be climate controlled, it must be secure with controlled access. Contractor must provide its own resources to perform the warehousing and staging services. Interested & Capable Responses: NCO 5 is seeking responses from companies that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources and capabilities necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing warehousing and staging services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. Ballpark cost estimate of what the VHA Women s Health Services could expect to pay your company to perform the work described above per year. Responses must be submitted by 11:00 AM June 9, 2023. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.).
