The Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a requirement for a new Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Technical Services contract for the MC-1C Gray Eagle acquisition category (ACAT) IC program with 177 aircraft and accompanying ground equipment. The Gray Eagle Technical Services (GETS) contract effort will provide technical services, maintenance, and repair support for program hardware. This support is anticipated to include Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) Engineering Tasks, Software Updates, and PBL Engineering Tasks such as the following: Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) resulting from PBL Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Working Groups, Publications/Documentation, Fielding, New Equipment Training (NET) and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) Deliverables in support of the Gray Eagle systems. The GETS contract will also provide the following support: to conduct studies, test support, investigation, and related activities required to support program management, systems engineering, hardware engineering, software engineering, fabrication, testing of modifications and support for product improvement to end items or major components which are in production. The period of performance for this five-year IDIQ contract is anticipated to be 24 October 2023 through 23 October 2028. Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii)(B) and 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements and award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency�s requirements. Justification and Approval applies to other than full and open competition basis whereas this requirement is sole source to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., (GA-ASI), 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA 92064, CAGE Code 0YJB5. All responsible sources may submit a response, which shall be considered. All responses must be submitted in writing and may be sent to: Teresa W. Jordan, Contract Specialist, at Teresa.W.Jordan.civ@army.mil. This requirement is subject to availability of funds. This notice of intent to negotiate a sole source award is not a request for a competitive proposal. This is not a formal notice of solicitation. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation. However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
