Description

In accordance with FAR 5.2 this is a notice that DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a 5-Year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), hardware, Indefinite Quanitity (IDIQ) contract. The proposed action is for the items listed below and total Best Estimated Quanitity (BEQ): Hardware: NSN: 5855-01-464-1513: Imager Assembly within Reusable Shipping Container P/N: A3271798-2, total BEQ: 675 NSN: 5855-01-538-6686: Detector Cooler Bench Assembly, Block 1, Within Reusable Shipping Container P/N: A3271807-2, total BEQ: 500 NSN: 5855-01-538-6085: Detector Cooler Bench Assembly, Block 1,�XV Within Reusable Shipping Container P/N: A3271808-2, total BEQ: 375 NSN: 6650-01-538-5879: Afocal Assembly, Notched Within Reusable Shipping and Storage Container P/N: A3271829-2, total BEQ: 490 NSN: 5855-01-490-9693: Standard Advanced Dewar Assembly II P/N: A3190634-1, total BEQ: 375 NSN: 5998-01-672-0394: Advanced Video Processor (AVP) Circuit Card Assembly P/N: A3354966, total BEQ: 500 NSN: 5998-01-671-6549: Export Advanced Video Processor (XVAVP) Circuit Card Assembly P/N: A3354967, total BEQ: 50 The specific items being sought support sustainment and function of the Second Generation Forward Looking Infrared (2GF) Horizontal Technology Insertion B-Kit items. These items are manufactured for�military use only and are not commercial therefore, FAR part 15 will apply to this solicitation. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 6.302. This acquisition will not be set aside for small businesses. DRS Network & Imaging Systems, (DRS), CAGE: 32865 and Raytheon Company, CAGE: 96214, are the original equipment manufacturers. The Government does not have rights to the complete technical data package for release. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
