- The Department of Veterans Affairs in Salem Virginia intends to solicitate for a requirement to fully prepare and paint halls, rooms, and door jams. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to complete this project. Location of Performance: Salem VA Medical Center (VAMC), 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Virginia 24153. Magnitude of construction is less than $25,000.00 NAICS Code: 238320- Painting and Wall Covering Contractors SBA Size Standard: $19. Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Set-Aside . *NOTE* Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) that are certified through the Small Business Administration s VetCert program are considered Veteran Owned Small Businesses and may compete for this requirement. Solicitation material will be available on/about Monday, July 10, 2023. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Bids will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation, roughly August 9, 2023. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a bid. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No bid list is maintained. All interested vendors should register on this website.
