- NOTICE TYPE Request for Information/Sources Sought SYNOPSIS This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) contracting activity seeks to identify vendors capable of providing procure an extended warranty and maintenance plan for the FLIR R80 SkyRaider mission kit, tether, and associate sensors. All interested vendors shall provide capability packages for the items outlined in the attached Statement of Objective. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334511 for Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard is 1,350. The capability packages for this sources sought are *not* proposals, but rather statements regarding the Company�s existing and past experience in relation to the areas specified above and should include: 1. Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, SAM.GOV UEI, CAGE, and Socio-economic size status for the NAICS code, 5 page max capability statement, ROM estimate of cost/price a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. 2. Identify whether your firm is interested in competing for this requirement as a prime contractor or not. Identify subcontracting, joint ventures or teaming arrangement that will be pursued, if any, bearing in mind the performance thresholds of 52.219-14. 3. Information in sufficient detail regarding previous experience (indicate whether as a prime contractor or subcontractor) on similar requirements (include size, scope, complexity, timeframe, government or commercial), pertinent certifications, etc., that will facilitate making a capability determination. Interested parties have fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the notice to submit in writing, to the identified point of contact, clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after fifteen (15) days, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this notice and will not be considered. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the address stated herein and to the attention of Ernest Caldwell Jr, Contract Specialist. Response to this notice must be received by 14:00 PM, Eastern Time on Friday, July 7, 2023. Responses must include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number with area code. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. Requests may be emailed to ernest.caldwell.civ@mail.mil. NOTES: This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will *not* accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if one is issued. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor correspondence for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
