Description
The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) has a requirement for a new firm-fixed price service contract to increase resilience of US Marine Corps resources at three installations: Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Beaufort, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), and MCAS Cherry Point. The Contractor shall pursue opportunities to identify and deploy NBS for the purpose of creating more resilience for USMC installations and their mission, particularly as climate change poses increasing challenges. The Contractor shall 1) conduct outreach and coordination efforts with the installation and stakeholders to understand their needs, 2) work with USMC and other stakeholders (as applicable) to develop a field study plan to collect, review, analyze and evaluate desktop and field data/information specific to each USMC project/site(s), 3) conduct a field study effort to address data gaps identified in the desktop analysis and establish baseline conditions within each project site, and 4) develop a detailed, program-level health and safety procedures for activities, to include coordination with mission and training, particularly on range sites, to ensure that field activities are completed safely and in conformance with USMC requirements. Solicitation Number W912HZ23R0032 is anticipated to be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with the intent to award a single contract with a 12-month period of performance. Detailed specifications will be available on the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/ on or about August 4, 2023. Hardcopies will not be available. Offerors should check the SAM website often for new solicitation and/or changes (amendments) to existing ones. This procurement is anticipated to be issued for full and open competition under NAICS Code 541620 with a size standard of $19,000,000.00. A draft Performance Work Statement is attached.� No questions will be considered prior to the release of the solicitation.
