- Notice of Intent NAICS Code: 811212 Computer and Office Machine Repair and Maintenance. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for continuation of services under the current General Services Administration (GSA) contract, GS-03F-0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444, as described below. The US Environmental Protection Agency�s (EPA) Office of Environmental Information (OEI) has a requirement to provide Managed Print Services (MPS) to the EPA�s Headquarters in Washington, D.C. along with various regional offices throughout the country. This requirement is currently performed under GSA contract, GS-03F-0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444. This contract provides the EPA RTP with the following Managed Print Services (MPS): a) MPS Support Line. b) Maintenance Services. c) Break Fix Services. d) Preventative Maintenance Services. e) Usage Monitoring Services. f) Consumable Supply Services. g) Configuration and Security Compliance Services. h) Technology Refresh Design Planning Services. The incumbent Contractor provides the Managed Print Services (MPS) support for MPS Support Line, Maintenance Services, Break Fix Services, Preventative Maintenance Services, Usage Monitoring Services, Consumable Supply Services, Configuration and Security Compliance Services, Technology Refresh Design Planning Services. The GSA contract, GS-03F-0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444, period of performance was extended for six (6) months from October 15, 2022, to April 14, 2023, via Far Clause 52.217-8�Option to Extend Services. The current GSA contract, GS-03F-0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444, period of performance was then extended for four (4) months from April 15, 2023 to August 14, 2023, via Far Clause 8.405-6- Limiting Sources. The Government intends to compete, negotiate, and award a follow-on contract for a one-year base period and two oneyear option periods in accordance with the Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR). However, due to delays in the acquisition process, the contract for follow on services will not be awarded prior to the current expiration date of August 14, 2023, of GSA contract, GS-03F-0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444. Since the services of the contract are critical and cannot lapse, the EPA must extend the period of performance of the current contract for an additional two (2) months to allow time for the new follow-on contract to be awarded. The EPA intends to negotiate this period of performance extension on a sole source basis. There are no other contractors that have the capability of providing the level, breath, depth of support, and continuity of services that are required by OEI for Managed Print Services (MPS) support. This notice will be posted for 5 calendar days. The intent of this notice alerts the vendor community to the extension of GSA contract, GS-03F0151X, EPA Task Order EP-G18H-01444. This notification alerts all vendors to this action and to determine if any other source (s) exist; and, therefore, no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract extension based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether competition is viable. Responses to this notice should be submitted to the Contract Specialist, Jeffery Clodfelter via the following e-mail address (Clodfelter.Jeffery@epa.gov) within 5 calendar days from the date of this notice.
