Description: The USDA Agricultural Research Service-Contracting Operations Branch seeks to award a construction project to replace the main electrical switchgear, emergency generator and electrical distribution panels of the Laboratory Building at the Appalachian Fruit Research Station located at 2217 Wiltshire Road Kearneysville, WV 25430. The replacement of the Main Electric Switchgear, existing diesel fired Emergency Generator with a propane fired Emergency Generator and the replacement of the electric distribution panels. Phasing of this work is critical and must be coordinated with the facility to maintain security in an active research and education facility with minimal interruption to research activities.
