- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Reference: Solicitation Number N00244-23-R-0084. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a firm fixed price contract under the authority of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source being available to meet the Government needs, to: Stryker Corporation, 2825 Airview Blvd, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49002-1802. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339112; the business size standard is 1000 employees. The government intends to award a FFP contract for LUCAS 3 v3.1 chest compression systems and accessory parts for its existing systems. Commander, Navy Region Southwest (CNRSW) is responsible for supporting emergency services through the promotion of public safety and fire prevention to those who defend the U.S. and surrounding communities.� As part of its mission, it prepares and trains active duty in providing emergency services to ensure personnel are capable in performing lifesaving activities. CNRSW currently employs automatic CPR devices which allow the medical attendant to maintain exacting compressions via the device so it can manage other ailments present thereby, allowing the attendant to extend its care.� The current devices, LUCAS 3. V3.1 are patented, manufactured and sold by Stryker Corporation.� CNRSW requires additional chest compression devices to expand its training and mission execution.� In order to maintain training consistency, no other device may be supplemented or added to the existing suite of compression sets.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement, in sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the ability to provide the Stryker LUCAS 3 v.3.1. Electronic responses only using a font size no smaller than 10-point. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source purchase order. Capability statements are due the date and time specified in this notice.
