Description

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) � soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The applicable NAICS Code is 519290. This requirement is for the procurement of online access to a geopolitical and predictive strategic intelligence platform.�� The Marine Corps Installations National Capital Region - Regional Contracting Office (MCINCR-RCO) at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: Stratfor, A RANE Company, P.O. Box 92529, Austin, TX 78709. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to genia.fouts@usmc.mil no later than 16 August 2023, 08:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Late responses will not be considered.
