Description

Samsung Galaxy Cell Phones - Brand Name Justification This is a brand name justification to solicit for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis for this requirement; and is issued for notification purposes only. The Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC) intends to negotiate and award a brand name justification contract to purchase Samsung Galazy S22 5G Cell Phones. To be in accordance with MARFORSOC order MARSOCO 2000.2 COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS, AND COMPUTERS INVESTMENT REVIEW, all IT equipment must be vetted, validated, and be on the approved device list, for purchase to ensure operational security throughout the use of the equipment in commercially contested territories between the Government and Covered Foreign Countries in accordance with FAR 4.2101. A brand name justification contract is deemed appropriate as no other items and/or vendor is able to satisfy the Government�s requirements. One (1) contract with Firm Fixed Price Contract Line Items is anticipated. Delivery location is Sneads Ferry, NC. The estimated award date is scheduled for 30 August 2023. Classification Data: NAICS Code: 517112 FSC Code: 7E21 SBA Applicability & Size Standard: 1,500 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement or an exception to the Government's intent to purchase on a brand name justification basis within three (3) days of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred for submissions in response to this notice.
